Source: - Dr. Guzman performed emergency surgery, partial hip replacement on April 17. Did a great job. Recovery is going very smoothly. Had a follow up appointment today to get the staples out. Office staff was pleasant and competent. Wait wasn't long. Dr. Guzman is very personable as well. Just had my 2-1/2 month follow up. Xrays were taken. Everything looks good. Was in and out of there in 20 minutes, which is pretty rare for a doctor's appointment these days!

Source: - I went in for consultation about my drop feet before I scheduled my surgery with a knee surgeon. X rays were taken of feet and ankles. He seem to understand my concern and felt very confident that knee surgery would provide better walking. Unfortunately not much can be done for drop foot. I was not hurried and answered all my questions.

Source: - At 80 I've seen a lot of doctors for many reasons. In October'24, my Golden Retriever stepped on my right foot. I saw two different podiatrists and by July '25 had no relief from pain. Today, i was evaluated by Dr. Guzman. He took Xrays and confirmed I had joint issues.
He was thorough and answered my questions with frankness.
He suggested I go home and discuss my concerns with my husband. Then, if I decide to opt for surgery, he wanted to meet again to review the procedure and set up a strategy for surgery.
Both my husband and I were grateful for his advice and the lack of pressure to have surgery.

He is a great Doctor and Surgeon I am very grateful to have him as my Orthopedic surgeon and doctor. He has been so helpful and positive throughout my year long journey. Also outlining what I would need to do post op as far as physical therapy and recovery timeline. Immediately after surgery I was relived from pain I had prior to surgery. Not to say I didn't have swelling or soreness that comes with healing. However I never took anything other than 3 ibuprofen's 800mg after surgery. Only negative and not the Dr's fault but because they work out of two offices I was mistakenly sent to the wrong office. They do have TWO text reminders sent out, but neither state which office to go too. That text reminder system should be updated so patients don't mistakenly go to the wrong office.

Source: - After a ruptured achilles tendon, trying to find someone to take our Insurance, a process that took 3 days , I was able to get in with Dr. Guzman.
He explained it may be difficult to reattach. Not only did he reattach it, but able to do it without a major scar , It has been 6 months and I was cleared to play football at 67.
Follow his protocol and get a 3 wheel scooter and stay off it as it heals. I was able to work with a driver.
Thank You very much for explaining the options and listening to my concerns and getting me into surgery on a vacation week for you.

Source: - I went to see Dr Guzman for what feels like a permanently sprained ankle. I must say my experience with him, as well as his assistant Dusty, was excellent! Both of them were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me so that I could understand thoroughly. They also were so kind and empathetic!! Best bedside manner I think I've ever received in a doctor's office!! I tend to talk a lot due to suffering from anxiety and both were very patient, listened to me, and answered all my questions. The treatment and MRI that Dr. Guzman ordered for me were exactly along the lines of what I figured would be his course of action, and I feel very confident that he has/will get to the root of the problem so that I'm able to have a successful recovery!! Fingers crossed MRI results come back showing no more major issues... However if we have to be more aggressive, I would trust him completely. I highly recommend him as a doctor you want to see! (The new Venice facility just off of I-75 is beautiful as well. I love the extra large, covered, drive-thru drop off/pickup for rainy days here in SWFL. The office staff are friendly and efficient too!)
